Friday was a monumental day. Doug officially finished work and we said goodbye to our possessions and creature comforts as they were loaded into the removal truck bound for the UK.
On Sunday evening we returned the keys to our rental apartment. Strolling back to the car, we admired the backdrop of the Harbour Bridge, Opera House and city lights behind. We realised at that moment, although sad that our Sydney chapter was drawing to a close, the biggest adventure of our lives was just beginning.
This is my last week at work and Doug is busy with final preparations for the trip. 3 days to go… Excitement is mounting!
